      From the British press: "High Noon Start to Pacific Bonanza," BOAC 
News" of 31 March 1967 reported that the following day a Boeing 707 was 
to leave London to close the 3,173 mile Honolulu-Fiji gap and inaugurate 
BOAC's second round-the-world route.  The full London-Sydney itinerary of 
the flight, BA531, was to be London, New York, San Francisco, Honolulu, 
Nandi and Sydney.

      BA531 operated ex-LHR on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Qantas
operated 707s on the same schedule on the other four days of the week as
QF531 providing a joint daily RTW service.
