Dr Richard Upjohn Light and his friend Robert Wilson (from General Electric Company) embarked on a round-the-world seaplane tour that would take them many months to complete. Their experiences were a blend of aviation episodes and meeting a host of friends along the way. Dr Light had special interest, as a medical doctor/instructor in surgery at Yale University, to visit medical facilities, other doctors and medical missionaries as they flew from place to place in their RTW journey. He kept a journal of his flight.
