Played by using the palm of your hand as a racket and hitting the SOCK-IT-TO-ME like a ball.

This sport game originated hundreds of years ago in Brazil by Indian tribes. It was called "Peteca." SOCK-IT-TO-ME is an aerodynamically improved Peteca.

DIRECTIONS for Play
ONE Player
Player begins by hitting the SOCK-IT-TO-ME vertically up into the air. If the SOCK-IT-TO-ME falls within the Player's reach, it should be hit up again. Player should continue until the SOCK-IT-TO-ME is missed. A score of 11 consecutive hits wins.
TWO Players
Opponents face each other at least 10 feet apart, each keeping one foot fixed on the ground. Server begins by hitting the SOCK-IT-TO-ME within the reach of his Opponent. If the Opponent fails to hit the SOCK-IT-TO-ME back to the Server, then Server scores a point. If Server hits the SOCK-IT-TO-ME out of the Opponent's reach, the Opponent scores a point. If while returning the serve, the Opponent moves his fixed foot, the Server scores a point. This volley continues until someone scores a point. Players alternate serving to begin each volley. A score of 11 wins.
MANY Players
Players form a circle, each at least 10 feet from the other and each keeping one foot fixed on the ground. Server begins by hitting the SOCK-IT-TO-ME to any other Opponent, but within the reach of that Opponent. If that Opponent fails to hit the SOCK-IT-TO-ME to another Opponent, then Server scores a point. If Server hits the SOCK-IT-TO-ME out of the Opponent's reach, the Opponent scores a point. If while returning the serve, the Opponent moves his fixed foot, the Server scores a point. This volley continues until someone scores a point. Players rotate serving to begin each volley. A score of 11 wins.
