TWA Inaugurates Round-the-World Jet Flight Service

	The Civil Aeronautics Board granted TWA its long sought transpacific authority 
giving TWA a round-the-world route when operated in conjunction with its domestic 
transcontinental service.  
	On August 1, 1969 the westbound flight departed from Los Angeles to Honolulu, HI 
and points beyond.  It arrived in New York, NY on August 4, 1969.  
	Also on August 1, 1969 the eastbound flight departed from New York, NY to 
Frankfurt, Germany and points beyond.  It arrived in Los Angeles, CA on August 3, 
1969.
