On August 18, 1926 at 3:30 PM, Clarence A. Keller Jr sent an Air Mail letter from Wichita, Kansas addressed to himself routed via various countries linked in a chain around the world.


On November 29, 1926 at 2:00 PM, after the passing of 103 days, the Air Mail letter was returned to Wichita, Kansas appropriately backstamped at each interim country during its around-the-world journey.



Air cover, tying C-4x2, C-5, C-6, C-7 and #586 made the around- the-world trip from Wichita to Wichita, Kansas in 103 days.
